After studying Fashion at BA Level, I went on to complete an MA in Costume Making with Distinction. This led to the launch of the freelance business model of: The Purple Haired Costumer.
Fashion Portfolio
I studied BA Contour Fashion and since graduating I have worked garment technician roles within the fashion industry. I have a passion for design; as well as an admiration and pride of technical construction/fit.
Print Portfolio
During my time at university and when working freelance, I developed a passion for print design for both textile and accessory goods. I started a drop-shipping shop of my print designs to stimulate and inspire my continuing creativity.
Textile Recycling Initiative
Having worked in the fashion industry for a variety of companies and also working with local creative spaces/charities, it is becoming increasingly more desperate to reduce the amount of textile products in landfill and increase the overall lifespan of our clothes and textile goods. This being said, I created my own brand called "That Ghost Needs Glasses" which takes waste fabric and produces book covers and soft shell glasses cases.
